**Have your argumentative topic turned in on a note
card by the end of class today. You MUST have
2 note cards with the same argumentative topic. One
I will stamp (this will be kept in your research folder).
The other one will not have a stamp, and I will collect it.
Be sure you have your topic thesis as well as your name
and class period on it.
**HW: Complete the set up of your Sources Cited
page and begin adding entries for sources you will
use in your research. For Monday, you should have 2
sources on your page.

to have some information that you can use for counterclaims

Sources Cited page with 7 sources (and the print outs
of articles) are due WED., 1/9 at the END OF CLASS.
Only hard copies will be accepted as on time.
o Tuesday 1/8
1. Computer Lab--locate/print sources and put
entries into Sources Cited page. Be sure to have
sources with some information for your counterclaims
2. PRINT SOURCES TODAY! Follow all directions
regarding responsible use of printer and paper.
3. This is the last day you will have to print out sources, so
make good use of your time. After today, you will
still probably need to add some sources after you begin
to read your information.
4. If you are done with your Sources Cited page and
printing your sources, begin reading/highlighting/annotating
**IMPORTANT NOTE: You should highlight information
that you can use for your counterclaims in a different color
(or a specific color/make a "key" on your articles).
**HW: Be sure you have a Sources Cited page today
with at least 7 sources in the correct format for the
start of class tomorrow.
Your Sources Cited page is due tomorrow at the
end of class with at least 7 sources. You should have
more than 7, ideally.

page and printed all of the articles you would like,
continue reading sources and looking for more
